Paul Simpson, MA, CE, Senior Research Manager
Paul Simpson, Senior Research Manager at PRA Inc., has broad knowledge of environmental, labour, and social issues. He also has expertise in quantitative analysis and econometrics, with special proficiency in Stata. Paul has managed many assignments and has conducted key informant interviews, analyzed data, written reports, conducted literature and document reviews, and taken part in case studies for a variety of projects. He has worked on projects in the areas of the labour market, the environment, Aboriginal issues, justice, and agriculture. He was largely responsible for the literature review that served as the foundation for the development of official statistics in the Government of Alberta. He obtained his Master of Arts in Economics from Carleton University in 2007. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advanced Economics from the University of Manitoba. Paul joined PRA in 2003, and after taking time off to complete his MA, he rejoined the company in 2007. Paul is a Credentialed Evaluator (CE); a designation from the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES).
