Matthew Stargardter, Senior Research Associate at PRA, has worked at PRA since 2008. He has an extensive background in research planning, policy analysis, and program evaluation in areas ranging from health, justice, and social policy to agriculture and energy. Matthew has contributed to numerous evaluations for major clients in government, the private sector, and several non-profit organizations.
Matthew has applied his research, analytical, and writing skills to a variety of data collection methods. He has undertaken many complex document and literature reviews, and has produced detailed reports and summaries for a variety of audiences. He has also interviewed a wide range of key informants, including senior executives and government officials. Furthermore, Matthew offers expertise in the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, including experience with computer-aided qualitative data analysis software such as NVivo, as well as with statistical analysis software such as Stata and "R".
Matthew’s academic background has contributed to his firm grasp of economic theory and numerous statistical and econometric methods. While specializing in public economics, labour economics, and population economics, Matthew is particularly knowledgeable in the area of the economics of health care delivery.
