PRA and the National Survey Center have been engaged by Health Canada to recruit homeowners across the country to participate in a nationwide study to measure radon levels in homes. In order to participate, homes must qualify for the study through a telephone interview.
Participation involves:
- Placing a small plastic radon detector, about the size of a toonie, in your home for 3 months.
- Mailing the detector back to Health Canada for analysis in a pre-paid envelope.
- Completing a questionnaire about your home.
Health Canada will analyze radon levels and provide all participants with the results for their home. If high radon levels are identified, participants will be provided with information and advice on how to correct this situation.
