François Dumaine, LLL, MA, CE, Partner
François Dumaine, a Partner with PRA, directs the Ottawa office. His expertise includes a wide range of research methods and project management techniques, as well as assignments that are both regional and national in scope. François has designed and managed numerous program evaluations and other research assignments for federal and provincial governments and non-governmental organizations. These projects address various dimensions of justice, education, official languages, Aboriginal communities, and social programs. Since joining PRA in 2000, François has travelled extensively in all regions of the country and has had the opportunity to address and discuss public policy issues with government officials, community organizations, and program beneficiaries and clients. François graduated from Carleton University in 1998 with a Master of Arts degree in Political Science. Prior to that, he received a Civil Law degree from the University of Ottawa in 1988. François is a member of the Barreau du Québec. He served as the President of the Canadian Evaluation Society from 2008 to 2010 and as a member of the Executive Committee of the International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation from 2010 to 2012. He is a Credentialed Evaluator through the society's Professional Designation Program. François is bilingual in French and English.
