Susanna Beaudin, MA, Research Associate
Susanna Beaudin joined PRA as a research associate in 2017. She has a strong background in the social sciences and in qualitative research. Several years of post-secondary studies and research have contributed to her excellent written and analytical skills. As a student, Susanna took an interdisciplinary approach to her studies and pursued a wide range of research interests, including international politics, natural resources, poverty reduction, and global health and education policy.
In her previous work experience, Susanna has supported many aspects of the policy and program delivery process. While at Natural Resources Canada, she conducted research on energy and natural resource markets in East Asia and India, as well as planned and coordinated ministerial engagement abroad with both government representatives and private sector stakeholders. Susanna also completed literature and document reviews of, among others, scientific reports and market assessments which informed the creation of strategic policy documents. During her internship at RESULTS Canada, Susanna produced advocacy materials centered on health and education. Her focus was particularly on researching the economic and social impacts of polio and of girls’ education in the developing world. She also helped plan and coordinate a national parliamentary conference.
Susanna is fluent in both English and French, and has experience working and studying in both official languages.
