Health Canada will mail out the radon test kit to qualifying participants in the fall of 2010.

The kit will include:

• a radon detector and instructions
• a questionnaire (which can also be completed online)
• a return envelope

Health Canada will also provide a brochure explaining in more detail the nature of radon, how it gets into homes, and the long-term health risk posed by exposure to high levels of radon.
